Ah...I got caught up in that. It was...strange. I never got the chance to report it until now; they've been keeping us hopping. I was transported to another world - one with mountains that walked and breathed fire.

I see that our employers are willing to bring multiple people from the same world as they see fit. I wonder, if one person from a world says yes but another says no, is the contractual protection of the world voided by the second person's rejection?

...That's something I'd prefer not to think about. If someone says "no" and ruins our "yes", we aren't likely to find out in time, nor can we do anything about it.

Unfortunately that's accurate. [ They better agree or they're officially The Worst. Unfortunately they probably know a few people who are in fact The Worst... ]

We'll find out sooner or later, presumably. [ For all they know, they could be given a different assignment than to Gilese's ranks. ] Yes, that certainly would be something they would do. It doesn't surprise me they were approached, they're both talented alchemists and resilient for their age.

They've certainly made it thus far. We will see. Likely sooner rather than later, I imagine. Were there quite a few of these potential new recruits in this fire-breathing mountain land, aside from the Elrics and Greed?

[ The part Riza hasn't said is that the ones from home that would be most useful are members of their own team, who could work themselves into their slow-burning plan without the slightest hitch.

...Not that the Elrics can't handle it, but there's not really any time or place where it's safe to discuss their desires to eventually get out from under the CDC's thumb, and for now they really do need to be perfect soldiers.

[ For now it is best to remain under the radar, and no doubt the devices are monitored. Considering the CDC is already very aware of Roy and Riza's previous work in... well, overthrowing Amestris, the better they behave the better they can serve their current plans. Patience is a virtue.

Patience and chaos don't usually come in the same package, unfortunately, and holy crap does Edward just bring chaos. Probably because protag. ]
